Christine Anderson
Founder of Complete Equine Therapy
Hi, my name is Christine, and horses have been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. I’ve ridden and worked alongside them since childhood, developing a deep appreciation for both their athleticism and their individual needs. My academic journey began in kinesiology, with the original goal of working with professional athletes. Throughout college, however, my passion for horses never faded. I spent years as a working student for multiple trainers and eventually stepped into the role of assistant trainer at a hunter/jumper barn.
In 2020, I began my path in equine therapy, inspired by a remarkable man who has become someone I now consider a father, and a highly respected equine bodyworker with decades of experience. I had the privilege of studying under him, and his depth of knowledge and dedication left a lasting impression on me. To this day, I look up to him not only as a mentor, but as family, and his influence continues to guide my work. During this time, I also had the opportunity to understudy with another well-known equine therapist. Through these experiences, I worked hands-on with thousands of horses across a wide range of disciplines. These formative years solidified my passion and sparked a deep calling to combine my lifelong love of horses with my background in human movement and performance.
To further my education, I attended the Northwest School of Animal Massage, completing the coursework and clinical hours required to earn my professional certifications. With this foundation, I launched Complete Equine Therapy, dedicating my practice to supporting horses’ comfort, performance, and overall well-being. Since then, my business has grown into my greatest passion. I pour my heart, time, and energy into ensuring that every horse receives individualized, high-quality care. My mission is to meet each horse where they are, helping them feel their best and perform at their highest potential.
Services
Each session is thoughtfully tailored to your horse’s individual needs, ensuring a personalized and effective experience every time. Because every horse is unique, no two sessions are ever exactly the same. A session may include, but is not limited to, the following—always based on what your horse needs most in that moment.
Evaluation
Each session begins with a full evaluation of your horse’s overall well-being, including posture, movement, and areas of tension. From this, a personalized treatment plan is created to best support your horse’s needs.
Range of Motion & Stretching
Gentle guided stretches help improve flexibility, circulation, and comfort while identifying areas of restriction. These movements support injury prevention and overall performance.

Massage Therapy
Hands-on techniques designed to release muscle tension, improve mobility, and help your horse move more freely. Each session is customized to your horse’s specific needs in the moment, with the goal of encouraging relaxation and restoring balance. Techniques may include myofascial release, fascial line work, trigger and stress point therapy, as well as pre- and post-event massage to support performance and recovery. Regular massage can also improve circulation, enhance muscle elasticity, support lymphatic flow, reduce the risk of injury, and promote faster healing from strain or fatigue—helping your horse feel and perform their best.
Visceral Therapy
A specialized technique that releases fascia around the organs to improve mobility, balance, and comfort. This gentle work helps the body function more freely and efficiently.
